While we present a CyFair form, Chapter 26 of the Texas Education Code requires school districts to have a complaint procedure for parents. Do not stop with your ISD! Go to the link with TEA. Start that process a the same time.
If your child is being bullied or you have direct evidence of distribution of pornographic in your library, go to our link below to Crime Stoppers and report to them. It is always easier and quicker to call principals or district office to address your concern. However, if that is not getting the results you need OR you think regardless of getting a resolution the process was too hard and frustrating here is how you can raise higher awareness.
Here is the link to file a grievance in the CyFair School District. https://pol.tasb.org/Policy/Download/587?filename=GF(XHIBIT).html&title=PUBLIC%20COMPLAINTS&subtitle=
You will see there are 4 levels of complaints or appeals. You can download these forms and print them off type your responses or hand written and scan back in.
There is no clearinghouse for these complaints and as other than the principal, how would the normal CyFair Resident know the exact appropriate party.
Since there is no clearinghouse here are the links that should get your problem to the correct department.
Superintendent Mark Henry mark.henry@cfisd.net
Chief of Staff Teresa Hull teresa.hull@cfisd.net
This should begin to get a response from the District and hopefully an amicable satisfactory resolution.
We must all keep in mind, while these issues are in our schools. Many are manifestations of systemic immorality in our society.
Time and time again we have seen school districts ignore the pleas of parents. If you feel that is happening with your case, NO Matter what school district you are in in Texas, this form will escalate to the offices of the Texas Education Agency
When submitting your in district complaint, be sure to let your school district you are aware and ready to elevate your issue to the Texas Education Agency.
